American Society for Information Science & Technology Annual Meeting

Raya Fidel and Jens-Erik Mai held a very well visited session on Cognitive Work Analysis at the ASIS&T Annual Meeting in Providence, RI, November 12-17, 2004.

 

Raya Fidel's presentation was entitled: Cognitive Work Analysis : the study of work, actors, and activities. Jens-Erik Mai held a presentation on: Indexing for Information Needs. Their slides can be downloaded here (both sets are in the same file): PowerPoint (495KB).

 

 

Workshop on Cognitive Work Analysis
CHII is proud to host its Workshop on CWA here in Seattle, November 3-5, 2004. The workshop brings together internationally renowned experts in Cognitive Work Analysis and Cognitive Systems Engineering from several countries. The experts will meet for three days and discuss around the three themes of Research, Teaching and Networking. For more information, have a look at the Workshop on CWA website.
