Final Report

This assignment will allow you to think about and discuss the value of Google in multiple contexts.

In this course, we will consider Google in several ways: its technology, its business, its cultural impact and its effect on the world of searching. For this report, you are to choose at least two of these aspects of Google and compose a report answering this question: Is Google good?

You may identify a particular audience for this report if you like (for example, for a potential investor on its business plan and technology, or for a professional workshop on its cultural impact and effect on searching). This report should analyze Google’s current (and potential future, if relevant) value and worth and articulate your opinion on weather Google is “good” in the respects you choose. It should also reflect or take account of the class discussion in the areas you choose.

Your report will be evaluated based on the quality of your thinking and analysis, and the quality of the expression of your ideas.

This report is due to me by 5:00pm on March 12.
