MLIS Information Sessions


The Information School offers information sessions for prospective students interested in either the residential or online MLIS program. Topics include MLIS curriculum and requirements, application procedures, and what you can do with the MLIS degree. The MLIS program is offered in two modes of delivery: full-time on-campus Residential MLIS and part-time Online MLIS. Degree requirements are identical for both modes.  Information session take place on-campus or via live web chats.


On-Campus Information Sessions

On-campus information sessions typically take place in Mary Gates Hall on the University of Washington campus.  Unless otherwise noted, there is no RSVP required for the on-campus information sessions.

Live Web Chat Information Sessions

Live web chats are available for those who cannot make it to campus for a face-to-face information session.  The times indicated are in Pacific Standard Time (PST).  There is no RSVP required for the web chats.  The web chat location is at http://uweoconnect.extn.washington.edu/publicdmlischat/.
