Network Resources Workshop for New Residential MLIS Students

Friday, September 19, 2008
9:00 am-1:00 pm / Mary Gates Hall 430

In order to meet the needs of new students who are not familiar with many of the UW specific network tools and resources that are basics for communication and mobility in our MLIS program, the iSchool offers, free of charge, a Network Resources Workshop (NRW).  Students are expected to "hit the ground running," in our courses, so although attendance at NRW is optional, it is essential that students attend the NRW if they are unfamiliar with the tools and resources covered in the workshop.  NRW typically takes place a few days before the start of autumn quarter; due to a limited number of seats students are required to RSVP for the workshop.
