Portfolio Deadlines

Please be aware of the following deadlines for submitting your portfolio.  Plan on attending an information session well in advance of the quarter you intend to turn in your portfolio/graduate.  Also make sure that you discuss your portfolio ideas with your faculty advisor early on in your program.  Your advisor must read and APPROVE of your portfolio and you must turn in your MLIS Portfolio Submission form to OSAS (MGH 470) before or on the date indicated below.  Late forms will not be accepted.  If you fail to contact your advisor and make arrangements for the first read of your portfolio you could jeopardize your chance to graduate in a timely manner.  Failure to have your portfolio approved results in postponed graduation and registration/payment of tuition for an additional quarter.  Please be proactive and talk to your faculty advisor about your portfolio and graduation plans.

Portfolio Submission and Evaluation Deadlines


*** Note that your faculty advisor may have their own deadlines for when you should give them your portfolio for initial review.  You should talk with your advisor and plan on having your portfolio completed at least a few weeks before the following dates.
