Position Description
Under the general supervision of Principal Investigator (PI), Michael Crandall, the Writer/Editor will manage the editing and production of a book based on the project work for the Communities Connect Network. We have a signed contract with Information Today to develop and publish this book by the end of the summer and need a student to edit and integrate the materials we have produced.
Required Qualifications
• Must be a current student in the INSC, MLIS, MSIM, or other graduate degree program
• Demonstrated interest in the use of technology to deliver information services to underserved populations, and familiarity with public policy efforts in this area
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Ability to manage multiple contributors and deadlines
• Solid research skills
• Expert with bibliographic and authoring software
• Able to work independently, but seek guidance when necessary
Pay
$20 per hour
