- Evaluate, develop, align, and implement student recruitment strategies
- Increase scholarship and grant support for students
- Enhance internship and student employment opportunities
- Develop mechanisms that facilitate student engagement and mutual support
- Set high standards for faculty advising
- Expand career development and placement services for students
- Prepare faculty and staff to be leaders and innovators in a diverse community
- Develop key indicators of leadership and innovation and implement related recruitment, hiring, and retention practices for faculty and staff
- Establish expectations that faculty and staff will be models of leadership and innovation
- Provide training, support and development activities that will increase the capacity of faculty and staff for leadership and innovation
- Reward both internal and external practices of faculty and staff in leadership and innovation
- Review and improve the existing curriculum for each academic program
- Implement common experiences for students across degree programs that will facilitate leadership and innovation
- Review our academic programs as a whole—size and shape, quality, intent, and outcomes
- Foster higher levels of student involvement in the administration and life of the School
